Job description

SOGECLAIR Engineering GmbH in Germany is successfully active in the aerospace sector as a competent engineering service provider of the international SOGECLAIR Group.

We are expanding and are looking for the following to strengthen our teams as soon as possible in Bremen a Stress Engineer (m/w/d)

Your tasks will be: 

  • Execution, revision and validation of a dimensioning analyses and/or resistance justification of 
    structures or components. Metallic and composite materials.
  • Finite element model modification, creation and validation of metallic and/or composite 
    structures.
  • Interpretation, use and validation of finite element model derived results
  •  Definition, follow up and result interpretation of tests.
  • Proposal of alternative analysis or damage mitigation options when required by the analysis.
  • Proposal and creation of automation scripts for calculation processes or for the preparation or 
    use of derived results.
  •  Creation, revision and validation of stress documents, presentations and reports. Specially 
    regarding the strength justification for certification purposes.
  • Clear and concise presentation of results, both spoken and written
  • Work group management

 



Profile

  • Degree in Engineering in the area of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Civil Engineering etc.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Static analysis or F&DT is required
  • Working experience with CAE Tools NASTRAN / PATRAN / HYPERMESH, ISAMI mandatory, VBA knowledge is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of strength, stability and residual strength analysis of aircraft structural components
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
  • Advanced knowledge of hand and classic calculation methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn…)
  • Knowledge in Metallic / CFRP aircraft structure
  • Knowledge of Airbus internal Static manuals, methods and policies mandatory
  • Experience in High Lift is an advantage
  • English minimum B2
